
- 2 cups dates
- 1 cup almonds nuts
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- water as needed
1. Measure out all your ingredients.
2. In the food processor, pulse the almonds until it turns to bite size pieces. Empty into a big bowl.
3. Pulse Dates until there are no chunks left. This will take longer than the cashews but still under 2 minutes. Empty Dates into the same bowl with the almonds.
4. Line a baking pan with parchment paper or plastic wrap, long enough to hang over the edges. Lay a sheet of parchment paper each both directions. This will prevent sticking and be super easy to pull out.
5. With the food processor or with your hands mix together all the ingredients until everything have been incorporated.
6. Press into baking pan.
4. Chill for at least a couple of hours until firm, then cut into squares or bars.
