Class # 1: Organize your pantry
Explore the vast variety of health-supportive foods including whole grains, beans, sea vegetables, condiments, oils and natural sweeteners; why we use them and how to gradually stock your pantry with these high-quality staples. We will discuss the ABC's of menu planning and how to create nutritious balanced meals. We will apply the principles and demonstrate a variety of cooking techniques as the instructor prepares a complete and satisfying meal with dessert for all to enjoy.
Class # 2: Create a healthy refrigerator
Learning to use a kitchen tools properly and safely is essential to good cooking. You'll prepare your meals in half the time as you learn how helpful kitchen tools can be for mincing, dicing, slicing, shredding and more! We will be learning how to create a Natural refrigerator and prep meals for the week with new kitchen tool knowledge.
Class # 3: Family Recipes
Discover how easy it is to prepare foods that taste delicious and are good for you as we focus on the basic techniques of clean cooking. You'll learn how to take family favorites and clean them up.
Class # 4: How do you cook that?
This week you will be discovering familiar natural food in a whole new way! We will be cooking items that you may have had in the past and possible were not fond of because of the way they were cooked. Also, learn how to precook items to make quick meals.
Class # 5: Where to shop? How to Shop?
Learning where to get your Natural ingredients is easier than you know, you just need to know what to look for. Find out all the latest and greatest scoop on items fresh from farms, fabulous farmers markets, and success in super markets. Now that we have learned how to organize our food and how to keep it fresh, now we need to know where to get them at. We will making quick soups that can be eaten for dinner, lunch, or added to any meal.
Class # 6: Breakfast Challenges
We all have challenges with breakfast, either we don’t have enough time, don’t know what to make, and find ourselves eating the same old thing, or nothing at all. Get some new ideas for quick, preplanned, or on the go breakfast meals that every family member will eat.
Class # 7: Eat In? or Eat Out?
You may be wondering, is my life now confined to the kitchen, can I never go out to eat out again in order to stay healthy? Absolutely not! Cooking should not be a chore, but an exciting adventure as should getting out of the house and doing things. We will be learning how to navigate menus, and learn about great restaurants right under our nose. Keeping snacks with you while you are on the go is a good way to not make unhealthy choices when we are in the moment of starvation. So we will make some quick snacks that can go anywhere.
Class # 8: Use it or lose it!
We have learned so many tips and tricks to preparing foods quickly and delicious all in a Natural way. So now we shall combine it all together in order to make that Natural lifestyle change. We will learn how to plan our meals, fill our shopping tool bag, and make heavenly leftovers. We know with Natural fresh foods if you don’t use it you will lose it. No one wants to through money down the drain.
